So, you might wonder, why 'Golden Tower'?
... the tall tower which can be seen right from the apartment's windows is situated across the Danube Canal and belongs to a thermal power plant famously designed by Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser.
In Vienna even a power plant may look like a magic palace ... ;-) During the day, the tower's top part sparkles in the sunlight, hence our little boy named it the 'Golden Tower'. Makes sense, right?
By the way, Mr. Hundertwasser also built one of Vienna's main tourist attractions, the so-called Hundertwasserhaus.
